Budo.

It's strange there are no coments to these photos...
The Bielorussians don't like Karaté?
Budo means "the way of the fight". It's diferent of Bushido, which means "the way of the warrior".
Three minutes, is the time that lasts a Kumité (combat) and most of the fights are lost or won in the first minute. When you are there those 3 minutes seem an eternity. These 3 minutes spend as much energy as 30 minutes of biking, or non competition swiming. A kick, for instance a "Mae Gueri" (frontal kick), can reach the instant speed of more than 200 Km/h. That's quite difficult to catch in the picture...

But the Budo is essencialy the fight with one self, the fight for total self control and perfection of the beeing. The fight is also called "Zen in action": the final purpose is to win without fighting or, if you can't avoid it, fight with the spirit as calm as the surface of a still pond: no anger and no fear.

Compliments from Portugal. Keep shooting (with the camera, of course) ;)
